Dear All,

We are excited to announce the upcoming Winter School on "Modelling, Estimation, and Control using Set-Based Methods: Theory and Applications," scheduled to take place at Centrale Lille, France, from February 13 to February 16, 2024.

This winter school is designed with a primary focus on PhD candidates and young researchers, providing a comprehensive introduction to set-based methods, specifically emphasizing interval-based approaches. The curriculum will span from the theoretical foundations of these methods to their practical applications in various problem domains, including parameter identification, state estimation, and robust control.

The primary goal is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively apply set-based methods in their research, engineering, or scientific pursuits. Additionally, we aim to promote these methods as valuable tools for addressing complex and uncertain systems.

The training sessions will be led by active researchers in the field, bringing a wealth of academic and industrial expertise to the table. The format of the training will be intentionally diverse, incorporating both lectures and practical workshops. During the workshops, participants will have the unique opportunity to utilize open-source tools to solve real-world problems.

For more detailed information, we invite you to visit our dedicated web page: Winter School 2024.

It's important to note that the winter school is free of charge, but registration is mandatory. Participants are responsible for planning and covering the costs of their stay in Lille. However, we are actively exploring options to provide lunches at a reduced fee.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Winter School in Lille, where we anticipate an enriching exchange of knowledge and experiences.

Best regards,
