Abstract

The Earth-Moon system represents a natural laboratory which can be observed with very high accuracy by Lunar Laser Ranging - LLR. The analysis of LLR data enables a unique view into the system's dynamic and allows testing predictions of Einstein's theory of gravity. This article describes the technique and analysis of LLR data and gives an overview of the estimated parameters from LLR with special focus on long-periodic nutation coefficients of the Earth and tests of Einstein's theory of gravity.
