Investigations in preparation of the renewal of the German main elevation network

Prior to the campaign to renew the German main elevation network, the influence of different substructures on static measurements for different antennas and elevation masks (5°, 8°, 15°) was investigated. Fig. (1) shows the different substructures (a) metal plate with Zeiss tripod, (b) tripod plate with Zeiss tripod and (c) an adapter for direct height measurement with Wild tripod (LVG Sachsen-Anhalt).
